Child and Family Services’ Concerts for a Cause – The Blues Summit

Each year, Child and Family Services host a series of Concerts for the Cause in Manchester, Concord, and Lebanon.  This year it included a Blues event called The Blues Summit on Friday, August 17th in Concord at the Capitol Center for the Arts.  The event featured the Grammy Award winning performer, Taj Mahal.  One-thousand supporters showed up to the event and approximately $57,000 was raised.  All of the proceeds from the event will help support critical services provided to local families and children.  These services include help for children suffering from abuse and neglect, children in foster care, at-risk youth, and families struggling with trauma, loss, etc. while trying to care for their children.
