Granite United Way’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program was designed to assist seniors and moderate-to-low income families across the state of New Hampshire file their taxes. Last year the VITA program helped over 3,900 people in filing and resulted in more than $5.5 million in tax refunds. Supported this year through grants from the Wal-Mart Foundation, Salem Co-operative Bank, and Citizens Bank, assistance is available for individuals and families through April 15th.
